Dr. Sanyu Gandhi
Dr. Gandhi grew up in Concord, NH and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY.
Dr. Georgia Smith
Dr. Smith grew up just up the highway, in Yarmouth, Maine. The daughter of veterinarian parents, Dr. Smith saw life through a medical lens and from a very close point of view.
Dr. Ayla Nelson
Dr. Ayla Nelson was born in central Massachusetts and has always loved southern Maine’s coastal areas. Dr. Nelson completed her doctorate degree at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine where she graduated in 2019.
Dr. Benjamin Harwood
Dr. Benjamin Harwood, a lifelong Mainer, grew up in the Winthrop Lakes Region just outside of Augusta. Dr. Harwood attended the University of New England in Biddeford, ME where he received a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in medical biology and continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2021
Dr. Skyler Hong
Dr. Skyler Hong grew up in San Diego, CA and studied at Arizona State University where he received a Bachelor Degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. He then came to Maine and received his doctorate degree at the University of New England college of Dental Medicine in 2024. Dr. Hong has also completed an internship at the University of Arizona Banner Hospital for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Julia Losardo, Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Julia Losardo was born and raised in Saco, Maine. Dr. Julia attended high school at Thornton Academy and went on to study at Bowdoin College. In high school and college, Dr. Julia played softball and was named Miss Maine Softball and Maine’s Gatorade Player of the Year. She later went on to be Bowdoin’s first softball player to be named the conference Player of the Year. Dr. Julia graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minored in Sociology.
Dr. Amanda Paradis, Orthodontist
Dr. Paradis grew up just over the bridge in Biddeford and earned her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England. Dr. Paradis returned to UNE College of Dental Medicine for her doctorate and then went on to complete orthodontic specialty training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
For every one person you see, there are more behind the scenes.
When you’re with a dentist or hygienist, you’re actually being served by the whole team. Technicians, assistants, and receptionists are all busy in other rooms facilitating the time you spend in the chair. It takes everyone working together to create an environment for great dentistry and a place where you feel known beyond just dental.

Alex M.
Dental Hygienist
I am a registered dental hygienist. I came to BSDA after I graduated from University of New England in June, 2019. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my yellow lab and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
Alyssa T.
Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Alyssa is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant who has been with BSDA since 2018. She graduated in 2023 with her EFDA License and is thrilled to be broadening the scope of her abilities. Outside of the office Alyssa enjoys kayaking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Andrea P.
Dental Assistant
As a Dental Assistant Andrea came to us through our reputation in the community. She’s very aligned with how we treat people, making sure you feel comfortable and known like a family is her main goal. Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and friends while hanging at the lake in particular.
Ash S.
Dental Assistant
Ash has been with BSDA as a dental assistant since December of 20204. She has any years of experience as she worked as a dental assistant when she lived in Florida. Ash is an amazing artist who spent her summers in Maine working for The Ogunquit Playhouse as a prop artist. Ash loves to read and spends a lot of her free time enjoying a good book outside in beautiful Southern Maine.
Brittney G.
Dental Hygienist
Brittney is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined Biddeford Saco Dental Associates with a passion for patient care and education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England in 2022, followed by her Master’s in Education from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in 2023.
In addition to her work in the office, Brittney serves as an adjunct clinical professor at UNE’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.
Outside of dentistry, Brittney loves exploring her creative side through photography, spending time outdoors, traveling to new destinations, and making memories with family and friends. She shares her home in Old Orchard Beach with her husband Trent and two beloved cats, Cleo and Rue.
Carly S.
Dental Assistant
Carly has been with BSDA as a dental assistant since 2016. She lives in Biddeford with her husband and their two sons. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, reading and traveling.
Diana M.
Receptionist
Diana is a Canada native being born in Montreal but has spent most of her childhood in Southern Maine. She joined the BSDA team in 2023 and truly loves greeting our patients and helping them feel at ease when they are in the office. Diana spends a lot of time enjoying the live music scene and getting lost in a good book. She has a very creative side and does her own writings as well.
Erica S.
Lead and Treatment Coordinator
Erica has been part of our team at BSDA since 2021. She has an Associate’s degree in Early Child Education and has transitioned her 10-year career from that to her new passion: helping patients understand and maximize their dental insurance. She is now our Front Office Lead and Treatment Coordinator with a focus on Implants and large treatment. When Erica is not in the office she loves gardening, camping and exploring hiking trails with her husband, son and their dog Nikki.

Hannah has been with BSDA since 2023. She graduated from the University of New England with her Dental Hygienist degree in 2022. She loves Southern Maine and spends as much time as she can outdoors playing with her dog and enjoying all the Maine has to offer.

Dental Hygienist
Hannah has been with BSDA since 2025. She graduated from the University of New England with her Dental Hygienist degree in 2025. Hannah enjoys spending her free time listening to live music (especially when her husband is playing in the band), and spending time with her friends and family outdoors.
Jen B.
Lead and Treatment Coordinator
Jen joined BSDA in 2024 as a receptionist with a strong background in dental assisting, practice management and oral surgery. With a passion for patient care and operational excellence, she transitioned into her lead role supporting our Orthodontic and Pediatric departments. When Jen is not working hard in the office she likes to be physically active with long runs, taking in the sites on her husbands motorcycle, and supporting her 3 sons in their endless endeavors.
Jenn S.
Dental Assistant
Jenn joined BSDA in March of 2025 coming to us with 12+ years of dental assistance experience. She grew up in Biddeford and graduated from Kennebunk High School. When Jenn is not supporting our providers in the office she is busy with her two teenage children and spouse enjoying traveling throughout New England, taking in local eateries and museums and the occasional game of mini golf!
Jessica R.
Dental Hygienist, Pediatrics
Jessica lives in Buxton and studied at the University of New England where she obtained her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2017. She has practiced in both general dentistry and pediatrics and has found her calling with our pediatric population. When Jessica is not making kids smile she is spending time with her own son and her loving husband.
Kaleigh O.
Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Kaleigh grew up in Allenstown, NH and moved to Maine from Barnstead, NH. She has been part of BSDA since 2023 and graduated with her Expanded Function Dental License in 2023 from UMA. Kaleigh enjoys having the independence of being able to do expanded treatments on patients and being part of something bigger. When she is not in the office she spends time with her 5 beautiful children and spouse exploring Maine’s great outdoors.
Kayley A.
Dental Hygienist
Kayley graduated University of New Haven Dental Hygienist College in 2025 and joined BSDA immediately after. She is native to Maine growing up in Saco and has been active in the community. She enjoys dance and studied at Steppin’ Out Dance Centre, supporting her little sister at ice hockey games, and seeing local bands and live music at the many amazing venues Maine has to offer.

Dental Hygienist
Karen is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been with BSDA since 1994. She enjoys working at BSDA with her great co-workers and boss. When not working, she enjoys spending time reading, walking on the beach and traveling with her husband and 2 adult children.

Dental Hygienist
Kim was born in Massachusetts but has grown up in Biddeford, Maine since she was very young. Kim graduated UNE as a Dental Hygienist and joined the BSDA team in 2022. Kim enjoys the opportunity to help people improve their overall health by educating them on the oral health needs and being able to build strong relationships with people in her community. When Kim is not at work she loves spending time with her two beautiful daughters and her husband.
Kristi D.
Dental Assistant
Kristi is a Native Mainer and grew up in Scarborough but has lived in Saco for the last 12 years. She joined the BSDA team in 2021 and loves being a dental assistant. Kristi has a passion for the artistic side of dentistry and does a lot of the lab work our office needs. She feels it is important for a patient to not only be comfortable but understand what their treatment will be. When she is not working hard at BSDA she is “up to camp” with her husband and fur baby, Howie. Kristi is also a golfer who has a passion for sports and spends a lot of time exploring new breweries and listening to live music.

Dental Hygienist
Lisa graduated from Westbrook College for Dental Hygiene in 1997 . She has been a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist with BSDA since 1999. In Lisa’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and teaching dance at a local dance studio.

Receptionist
Liz joined BSDA in January of 2025 as a dental receptionist. Prior to joining BSDA Liz worked in the optometry field and co-owns a photography business with her husband. Liz has a passion for helping others and has extensive training through the Dale Carnegie Center. She spends her time away from the office enjoying the outdoors and her family.

Dental Assistant - Orthodontic Assistant
Lorissa is a native Mainer and grew up in Biddeford. She has been with BSDA since 2021 and truly loves being the second set of hands for the dentists and providing comfort to patients during treatment. When she is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys seeing Maine Mariner games and playing at Funtown Splashtown.
Mckayla S.
Receptionist
Mckayla is a Native Mainer who grew up in Gorham. She joined the BSDA team in 2023 as a receptionist but is going to school UNE to become a dentist. She has a passion for learning and has enjoyed the constant change of pace working both the front desk and working in the clinic. When Mckayla is not studying or working she spends time with her 2 dogs hiking and swimming.

Dental Assistant
Melissa is a dental assistant who has been with BSDA since 2003. She lives in North Waterboro with her husband. She enjoys shopping, being at the lake and spending as much time as possible with her kids and grandkids enjoying all of their activities.
Nadine A.
Insurance Coordinator
Nadine is our Insurance Coordinator and has been with BSDA since 2002. Nadine always enjoys interacting with our patient and co-workers, who she considers as her second family. She enjoys spending quality time with her beautiful daughter, married son and her wonderful grandchildren. You can also find her spending time with her three sisters and friends enjoying sunny days, long walks, belly laughs and taking in the moment.
Norma L.
Receptionist
She enjoys building relationships with patients so that everyone feels like a friend. She finds it especially rewarding when she can help a patient understand their dental insurance benefits (we all know it can get confusing). She wants everyone she helps to feel really confident in the treatment they schedule and how it will be handled after-the-fact.

Dental Hygienist
Paige is a Native Mainer growing up in the Kennebunk area. She joined BSDA in 2023 but has been practicting as a Dental Hygienist since 2018. Paige enjoys working at BSDA because it has a positive and warm environment and she likes being part of a team that feels more like family. When Paige is not at work she enjoys curling up with a good book, being outdoors with her husband and her dog, Boone, and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah M.
Dental Hygienist, Pediatrics
Sarah grew up in Raymond, ME and graduated from the University of New England in May of 2025 with her Dental Hygienist license. She worked as a dental assistant while finishing her final year of hygiene school which provided her with an opportunity to learn the benefits of building strong patient relationships. She enjoys spending time outdoors fishing with her husband and spending time soaking up all the wonderful things Maine has to offer.

Sophie is a native Mainer who grew up in Waterville, ME. She joined BSDA in 2025 and worked at Northern Lights as a Surgical Unit Coordinator and Patient Service Representative. Sophie’s warmth and friendly personality was a perfect fit for the BSDA team.

Office Manager
Summer has been with BSDA since September of 2021 and came to us with a background in Healthcare Management. Prior to starting in the dental field Summer worked as a specialty practice manager for several local Maine hospitals. Originally from Colorado, Summer enjoys the outdoors and spends time with her spouse and two children gardening, cooking and exploring all that Maine has to offer.

Receptionist
Sue grew up in Saco, Maine and has called it home for over 40 years. She has been with BSDA since 2023 and has loved seeing the other side of the dental office working as a receptionist. She spends time with her beautiful grandbabies as often as she can and loves going to the beach and kayaking.

Dental Hygienist
Tammy has been with BSDA since 2022. She is a native Mainer and grew up in the Biddeford area. She attended Dental Hygiene school at the University of Maine in Bangor. Tammy has deep ties to the community and enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her spouse when she is not helping our patients. Some of her favorite activities are cooking and arts and crafts.
Yaritza V.
Billing and Coding Specialist
Yaritza grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts and still lives in the Boston area today. She joined BSDA in 2022 as our Billing and Coding Specialist. Yaritza has owned and operated her own Dental Billing Company having graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Business and Accounting. She enjoys problem solving and working with patients and the insurance companies to ensure patients get the full benefit from their plans. When she is not working she spends time with her beautiful family which includes 3 children and her husband. They do a love of travelling as a family and are very active in their church and community.
Yvonne P.
Dental Hygienist
Yvonne grew up in Kingfield, ME and now lives in Portland. She graduated from the University of New England in 2024 with her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. When Yvonne is not in the clinic she is spending time on the beach and seeing live music.
